Welcome to the last UCL Law Society Newsletter of the year. This was our first ever year doing this, and we hope it was a success - thank you for sticking with us. Silk v Brief Publication
We are pleased to announce that on Tuesday we will be launching our Spring 2023/24 edition of Silk v Brief, our flagship publication! This edition has a record number of contributions and makes for a fantastic read, so don’t forget to keep your eye out for that.

Law Society x SPBC Pub Quiz
We are back for another pub quiz, this time to celebrate International Women’s Day! Join us to be tested on your knowledge of the contributions of women everywhere, and help support a charitable cause while you’re at it. You can sign up to attend here. The quiz will take place in The Court pub from 7:30pm on Wednesday 20th March, and the winning team will receive a prize.

Silk v Brief Launch Party Reminder
Don’t forget that for those who have signed up, the Silk v Brief Launch Party will be taking place in the LLB Common Room from 6:00pm onwards on Tuesday 19th March.
SMC Final Reminder
Tickets have now sold out, but don’t forget for those that have signed up that the finals of the JMC will be taking place from 4:30pm onwards on Friday 22nd March at the Supreme Court, where Lord Neuberger will be judging. The food and drinks reception will take place afterwards in a nearby pub, The Feathers. The dress code is business formal.
