We hope you all had a lovely weekend. Here is another week of updates from us at UCL Law Society!
Commercial Awareness Competition
Sign-ups are now open for one of UCL Law Society’s flagship competitions - the Commercial Awareness Competition! UCL Law Society won LCN Best Society for Commercial Awareness in 2023, so this competition promises to be a really exciting experience for all our entrants.
This is an excellent opportunity for any aspiring lawyer to test and develop your commercial awareness in preparation for assessment centres. Through different rounds, you will work through varying formats of assessment centre exercises, developing your knowledge on key commercial topics. This is therefore not only a great way to test your knowledge, but also your application of it.
All rounds will take place in person on campus, and competitors must attend a short introductory event on Tuesday 30th January from 6:00-7:00pm.

LSE-Featherstone Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Moot
The annual LSE-Featherstone Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Moot is dedicated to the consideration of areas of sexual orientation and gender identity law. This year’s problem is a judicial review claim under the Equality Act and ECHR. UCL is recruiting a team of two mooters to participate. If interested, apply at the form here.
